There are several ways that you can try to train your brain to make you smarter and a quicker thinker.
1. Move!
What is the best thing to do to train our brain? Playing chess? Completing some math cases? Oh no…not that. The best thing to do is to exercise! Aerobics is the best among the best ones. As you age, the cells in your brain (neurons) are lack of their connections called synapsis—a very important factor of your ability to think. And, the best way to avoid it is by exercising.
2. Nutrition
By consuming healthful meal, you can avoid yourself from hypertension, diabetes, or obesity which can cause memory intrusion.
3. Stress-Free
In a certain condition, a traumatic stress can affect your brain. Stress can interrupt your cognitive process such as learning and memorizing and as a result, it affects your quality of life as a human being. That’s why, try your best to avoid stress. Get relaxed, listen to the music or try yoga.
4. Enough Sleep
The sleeping brain, according to some theories, can help unify complex information. By taking enough night sleep, you can the next day create solutions to your problems a lot easier. Not only that, enough sleep can also help you avoid stress.
5. Stop Smoking
In some researches on the memory and cognitive functions, smokers get worse result than those who don’t. Plus, smoking can cause stroke and hypertension which can cause memory intrusion.
6. Socialize
Researches in Canada proved that lack of relationship with friends or family cause cognitive deterioration. Try to stimulate your brain by socializing. Meet as many people as you can. Especially when you age. Yet, do it as early as possible. Do you know that naturally brain is slowing down when you reach the age of 30?
